Bobo Leennox:

"It is not a racist painting, but one that gives hope to the black man. During the colonial days the Whites gave the notion to our ancestors that  Jesus was of the white race and Satan from the black race. That black people are decendants of Satan. The painting is to give blacks the impression that God created us in his own image. That issue of black and white race came as an issue of some individuals who had selfish interest in the wellbeing of mankind. As there is only one race and it is the human race. "
