"This painting describes the problems of the Africans with regards to traditions and believes. Do you believe when a king dies he was burried long with one of his guards. The guard is not just burried along whith the king, but he is burried alive. Do you believe, that when a man, who is married dies, his wife automatically becomes the wife of his existing brothers. The man's properites and wife belongs to his brothers. They maltre at her and do all sorts of things, having sex with her against her own wish. Do you believe that a man will give birth to children with the intension to use them mysteriously for money rituals? These are just some of the things this painting is all about. Violence against women, victimiziation, child abuse and a lot more."
